马克，男，回族，1962年出生，新疆达坂城人，1983年7月毕业于西北民族学院艺术系油画专业。后分配到甘肃省群众艺术馆《驼铃》杂志社从事美术编辑工作并担任美术摄影部主任。2002年7月调入西北民族大学美术学院，现为美术学院副教授、学术委员会委员、油画教研室副主任、甘肃美术家协会理事、甘肃省油画艺术委员会副主任、甘肃省青年美术家协会副主席，中国美术家协会会员。
