哈定(1923.9—2003)别名哈弼时，回族，江苏南京人。擅长水彩画、油画。50年代自办“哈定画室”。曾任教于上海美术专科学校，现为上海油画雕塑院画师。作品《塞外风光》获第六届全国美展佳作奖。出版有《哈定画选》、《水彩画技法》等。
青年时期师承张充仁先生。四十年代成为上海著名肖像画家。五十年代创办“哈定画室”，曾在上海交通大学、上海美术专科学校任教。1978年开始，哈定集中精力从事水彩画人物创作。80年代为上海油画雕塑院一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员，上海美术家协会理事。1986年作为中国美术家代表团成员赴非洲多国考察并举行画展。1988年在上海美术馆举办“哈定画展”。1989年被聘为第七届美术作品展水彩水粉评选委员会委员。1991年赴美国，定居洛杉矶。曾著有《怎样画人像》、《怎样画铅笔画》和《哈定画选》等。作为当代水彩大家，哈定先生在中国美术界影响广泛；他的“哈定画室”，成为建国后极少的职业画家设立的私人教学机构，1985年张充仁和哈定都还在国内，《张充仁肖像》这幅水彩，见证了一段珍贵的友谊和历史。
