李平（尚平），汉族，1964年生于山东昌邑。现为山东省美术家协会副主席，山东省书画艺术协会常务副主席，中国香港美术家协会副主席，山东大学艺术学院副院长、教授、硕士生导师，山东省文化艺术科学“十二五”重点学科美术学专业学科带头人。系中国美术家协会会员，山东省美术家协会油画艺术委员副主任，山东省油画学会理事长。
艺术创作以油画为主，兼及国画、水彩画等多种艺术形式；热衷于艺术理论、哲学原理及文学创作等方面的研究。
先后有二百多件作品在国内外重要展览中参展并获奖。1994年4月，在山东大学首次举办个人画展，十几次与他人在全国各地举办联展。近百件作品赴德国、韩国、日本等地展出。大量作品被国内外收藏家收藏。2008～14年，分别在北京、济南、深圳、潍坊、举办个人画展、师生作品联展三十多次。人民日报，新华社，中国文化报，中国贸易报，大众日报，齐鲁晚报，山东电视台，齐鲁电视台、中国新闻网等二十多家新闻媒体进行追踪报到。
有《艺术与科学的交融》、《论列宾美院绘画艺术教学的演变与发展》、《米罗岛的维纳斯纵横论》、《美在关系》、《皇村漫步》、《在列宾故居流连》、《风雪、艺术、人生》等四十余篇论文、散文在《美术评论》、《新美术》、《中国学术研究》、文艺争鸣》、《美术观察》、《美术》、《美术大观》、《画刊》、《山东文学》、《时代文学》等国家级核心期刊及专业学术刊物上发表。
2001年出版学术专著《欧洲美术名作鉴赏》，2002年出版《美术概论》（合著），2006年出版专著《中国当代油画家李平俄罗斯写生画集》、《俄罗斯艺术之旅——中国当代画家李平艺术典藏》，编著《外国大画家?萨夫库耶夫》、《列宾美术学院教学素描精品典藏》，2007年出版专著《俄罗斯学院派素描技法》，2008～14年，出版个人油画专辑、李平师生油画作品专辑4部。
2001-2011年，先后主持《绘画与创造》、《当代绘画艺术理论基础研究》、《列宾美术学院绘画艺术研究》、《高等艺术院校绘画教学改革研究》等多项国家级、省级科研项目。
