明镜，1960年11月出生，男，满族，现任河北大学艺术学院教授，硕士研究生导师，中国油画学会理事。1983年，毕业于天津美术学院装潢系，同年开始自学油画。1997年，油画作品《飞虫》获“走向新世纪中国新年油画展奖”。1999年，油画作品《品茶》获第九届全国美展铜奖。2001年，油画作品《故居》获“研究与超越中国小幅油画作品大展”奖——学术奖。2004年，油画作品《入梦曲》获第九届全国美展优秀作品奖。1999年，个人作品展于香港GalerieDuMonde。2000年，个人作品展于美国TaoWaterAreGallery。2004年，个人作品展于香港一画廊。2006年，个人作品展于香港一画廊。2007年，个人作品展于北京中国美术馆。新加坡好藏之美术馆。
