陈宏庆 1964年12月生于内蒙丰镇，重庆市人；陈宏庆是中国美院写实实力派青年画家杰出代表之一，他致力于油画语言挖掘及探索，擅长表现抒情意境。1980年考入四川美术学院附中；1984年考入中国美术学院油画系；1988年留该院附中任教。1995年 赴法国、德国、荷兰、意大利等国参观考察，并在意大利波罗利亚举行油画联展。现在中国美术学院视觉艺术学院任教，绘画系副主任。专业教研室主任。浙江省油画家协会理事。 有多幅作品参加国内外油画展。从1988年至今，曾参加过日本中国第一人者油画展、中国首届油画精品展、中国西湖艺术节油画展、当代中国油画日本展、浙江美术学院油画赴新加坡展、第八届全国美展。

《郊外》（1989）、《憩》（1994）、《三个女人和狗》（1993）、《界》（1994），其中《界》获第八届全国美展优秀作品奖。有多幅作品在国内艺术刊物上发表。

从1988年至今，曾参加过日本中国第一人者油画展、中国首届油画精品展、中国西湖艺术节油画展、当代中国油画日本展、浙江美术学院油画赴新加坡展、第八届全国美展。
