柳成荫(1930~2009)别名柳荣祥，江苏苏州浒墅关人，1950年苏州美专西画系毕业（即南京艺术学院），1961年中央工艺美术学院书装研究生班进修结业，人民文学出版社编审，中国美术家协会会员。擅长插图、书籍装帧设计。
1950年毕业于苏州美专。历任人民出版社、作家出版社美术编辑，人民文学出版社、外国文学出版社美术编审。作品有《随想录》、《芙蓉镇》、《基督山伯爵》等封面设计、插图，作品曾参加莱比锡国际书籍装帧艺术展览和全国书籍装帧艺术展览，并多次在国内展览中获奖。作品入选《书籍封面设计选》、《第三届全国书籍装帧艺术展览插图作品选》等画册。1985年参加中国版协和中国美协联合举办的书籍装帧艺术家10人作品展，有封面、插图、速写近百幅作品展出。1985年出席由中国版协在四川召开的“全国第三届出版年会学术座谈会”。1991年赴苏联友好访问。曾为《台湾小说选》、《南行记》、《随想录》、《基度山伯爵》、《芙蓉镇》、《地球的红飘带》等作品所创作的封面和插图，多次参加国内外展览，受到译作者好评并多次获奖。写意花鸟画《细雨滴不响，晨曦鸟又鸣》入选《南京艺术学院美术作品选集》。人物画《济公活佛》入选香港《安身立命作品选》。国画作品《宿雨朝来歇、天寒红叶稀》、《池鸭又报一年春》、《米芇拜师图》等多次参加国内外展出、收藏、发表。传略辑入《中国美术家协会会员辞典》、《中国现代美术家人名大辞典》、《中国出版人名词典》、《中国书画家名人大辞典》、《中国当代美术家人名录》、《世界当代书画家大辞典》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等。
