钟声原名，钟鸣现为中国美协会员、中国国画家协会会员，职业国画家，早年受教于河北美术学院、中央美术学院，作品曾五十余次参加国内及国际性书画艺术大展。曾荣获特别奖、金、银、铜奖、优秀奖。部分作品流传于美国、日本、法国、新加坡、香港、澳门、台湾等地，长期致力于中国画创作与研究工作。曾成功举办十六次个展。钟声是位爱心画家，热心于慈善公益事业，曾数次参与赈灾慈善义卖活动，捐出数十幅作品。
1994年10月作品《青春》入选庆祝建国四十五周年韶关市美术作品展览。
1997年作品《高隐图》入选中国收藏家大全（由中国文史出版社出版发行）　　1998年作品《顶峰春色》、《松风泉鸣》、《渔夫》、《万壑涧泉》、《江岸既景》入选远东经济画报并出版发行（江泽民题写书名）。
1999年，作品《山谷泉鸣》入选中国书画篆刻二十年成果大展。
1999年，作品《山高水长》入选中国书画篆刻名家精品大典。
