王峰，男，1946年8月生人，大学本科文化，作家、画家，中国美术家协会会员、国家一级美术师。天津画院原院长，现任天津政协书画研究会副会长。著有文学集《热土》等。其美术作品多幅被《人民日报》、《作家文摘》、《天津日报》、《今晚报》、《中国书画报》、《国画家》等报刊采用。王峰对大写意情有独钟，艺术实践中注重吸收各种营养。其多次出访日本、新加坡、德国、荷兰、罗马尼亚、匈牙利、奥地利等国家和中国香港地区。不少作品被中外人士收藏，并有《美术作品邮票珍藏版》发行。2006年4月应邀出席巴黎·中国美术周系列活动，《才气横来》、《共筑爱巢》两幅作品入选，受到法国朋友的热烈欢迎，并被聘请为法国法中文化交流协会特别艺术顾问。
