河北昌黎人。1964年毕业于中央美术学院中国画系，师承李可染、宗其香、何海霞、李苦禅、郭味蕖、叶浅予、蒋兆和等先生。现为中国档案出版社美术编审（一级美术师）、中国美术家协会会员、中国出版工作者协会装帧艺委会会员、北京书画研究会常务理事、北京女美术家联谊会常务理事等。其作品曾在中国美术馆、台北、日本等国和地区多次联展及个展，应邀参加“国际美术邀请展”、“世界女华人艺术作品展”等，并多次获奖，作品被选入《中南海珍藏书画集》、《中国画年鉴》等数十种艺术名录，《人民日报》、中央电视台等数种报刊杂志、电台，多次发表报道。1991年中国画《湘西秀色》被中南海收藏，选入《中南海珍藏书画集》。1999年在中国美术馆举办“吴丽珠画展”。出版《吴丽珠画集》。
